Mickey Thomas

Mickey Thomas is famous for many reasons. He's a Manchester radio legend after covering United for the last few years, he once scored a very famous FA Cup goal, and now he's Key 103's pundit for exclusive commentary on every single Reds game.
The goal he scored for Wrexham in dumping Arsenal out of the FA Cup happened back in 1992 when Mickey was 37 and still had hair. When he was a lot younger, he played 110 times for United in the late seventies and early eighties, and became a bit of a Welsh hero turning out over 50 times for his country. He even scored in a Wales win over England... he's still rather fond of that one. If Andy Hinchcliffe had been defending for England, it would have probably been his fault.
Mickey T's career also took him up and down the country to the likes of Everton, Brigton, Stoke and Chelsea before he returned to Wales and a second stint at Wrexham.
You can hear Mickey on Magic 1152's Total Football, and you have a chance to speak to him direct in our phone-in Talking Football after each United match. He brings a weatlh of experience and an unmistakable voice that'll keep Reds' fans company as they try to retain their Premier League and Champions League trophies from last season.
